What if I need to cancel or rebook my reservation?

Cancelling and rescheduling

  • You may cancel your exam 48 hours in advance of your scheduled examination date and time (contact UCNS for more details on cancellation policies). You may reschedule your examination up to a week in advance from the first day the exam is offered.
  • If you are unable to attend the exam due to illness or emergency, please contact Todd Bulson, Senior Manager, Certification at tbulson@ucns.org or (612) 928-6067.
Will the online proctor be able to access my personal computer files and documents without my knowledge?
  • ProctorU proctors cannot secretly access your computer files. With your permission, proctors have the ability to view your screen and utilize the mouse and keyboard as if they were sitting next to you.
  • Once the exam starts, the proctor will monitor everything on the screen, but can no longer use your mouse and keyboard. During the entire process, a chat box is running, and you can see what permissions the proctor currently has at any time.
  • The entire chat is saved, including a record of what actions the proctor took while accessing your computer.

What should I do before connecting to an Online Proctor?
Ensure your computer station is prepared 30 minutes prior to the scheduled connection time to reduce potential connection issues. It is MANDATORY that all candidates test their exam day computer PRIOR to the examination date to ensure all requirements are met. If a candidate is unable to access their examination due to a failure to complete the computer readiness check prior to the exam, they will forfeit their booking.

For additional preparedness, you MUST review the Remote Proctoring FAQ Page HERE regarding remote proctoring and preparedness for examination day.

Meazure Learning highly recommends downloading the secure browser and testing your equipment well in advance of your test session. Please read more details via the link above.

Technical issues encountered during the exam, which are a result of the candidate requiring a rebooking of the exam, may result in additional exam fees payable by the candidate.
